Luke 8:20-21: “And Jesus was told, ‘Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, desiring to see you.’ But he answered them, ‘My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it.’”
Luke 11:28 (ESV): But he (Jesus/Y’shua) said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
WALK THE WORD: Test all teachings and when you know it is of God put it into effect in your life – for faith without works is dead. You would be surprised how putting into practice in your life even the smallest principle from the Bible – of how it will dramatically improve things. You will defiantly notice the difference, for the better.
Like my high school Spanish teacher once said, “if you don’t use it you’ll lose it.” I took 2 years of Spanish classes but don’t remember but a few words and phrases now, because I didn’t use it in my life. So no matter how much you study the Bible, if you don’t live the Word of God in your daily life then you can easily forget what you’ve learned. We only have a limited time here on Earth, so it’s important to keep moving forward and keep growing in the knowledge and understanding of God and not have to go back and repeat the 5th grade all over again, and again, and again.
POTTER and CLAY: Learn to embrace the change that God wants to do in your life. Learn to not be hard of heart and mind toward God. Leave behind a life inside your comfort zone and take hold of the day-to-day transforming lifestyle of God. Learn to take a stand for what God wants instead of others or yourself. If you allow God to shape you into the New Creature you can step into a most wonderful life full of blessings and genuine richness beyond human understanding.
Isaiah 64:4-8; 2 Corinthians 5:17: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
