3-in-1: Three parts to one individual being or person
– this is the real Biblical Trinity concept.
This is a great and wondrous mystery revealed: That as Jesus (Y’shua) is the Body of God, we too are now a part of or a member of The Body of God through Jesus (Y’shua).
1 Corinthians 12:13 (ESV): “For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body — Jews or Greeks, slaves or free — and all were made to drink of one Spirit.” All of chapter 12 is a good read.
In 2 Corinthians 5:17, Paul states: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature …”
In Ephesians 5:30-32, Paul writes: “For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.”
In John 14:23, Jesus (Y’shua) said: “… If a man loves me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode (home) with him.”
In 1 Corinthians 11:3 (ESV), Paul states: “But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of Christ is God.”
In Romans 6:1-4, Paul writes: “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? (2) God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? (3) Know you not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? (4) Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”
Ephesians 3:6: “That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel.”
Good or Cancerous Part of the Body?
Think of it this way: As members of God’s Body (Jesus/Y’shua), we are not the head or the one who makes the decisions. If we want to remain in God’s Body, which is eternally alive (gives us eternal life), we must choose to obey God’s Laws and commands. If we do not, we become a cancer, which God will remove (see John Chapter 15).
